Matthew and I met at a bonfire at his sister and brother in law house in June 2007. My friends and I decided at the last minute (and at 11:00 at night!) to drive to Lakeview to the party. It is amazing that we ALMOST did not decide to go! There we were, all around the fire sharing stories. Matthew and I barely spoke to each other that night, but we left an impression on each other. Two months later the group was together again on the Miss Buffalo cruise boat. Matt and I actually talked and went for dinner and dessert afterwards. It was from that point on when we started dating. November that year we went up to Toronto for the Sting concert. That date was the point in which we considered ourselves serious. Between adventures to Finger Lakes wineries and weekend trip to Cleveland we decided we were the perfect match for one another. We were engaged in May 2008. The rest is history and here we are today...happily ever after.

Our wedding is August 28 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at Glen Oak in Amherst, NY. The ceremony is outdoors at the beautiful gazebo overlooking the golf course and grounds.

The reception will be following the ceremony. Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the wedding party will arrive at 6:00 to start the party! Dinner will be from 6:15 p.m.- 7:15 p.m. There will be no assigned seating as dinner is a stations design, there will be plenty of food and the bar will be opened the entire time. There is a patio overlooking the course and it is a perfect setting for evening dancing! The atmosphere is very comfortable as well as classy.

We have reserved shuttle service from Ramada Inn to Glen Oak at 4:15 p.m. The shuttle will return to Glen Oak at 10:00 to pick up any guests who need a lift back to the Ramada. There is plenty of parking at Ramada Inn as well as at Glen Oak. Ramada Inn and Conference Center is located at 2402 North Forest Road Getzville, New York 14068, 636-7500.

Matthew and I would like to express our gratitude for having the wonderful people in our lives to share in the happiest day of our life (so far). Thank you for being our family and our friends.
